Start by making 2 legs

**Use yarn A**

Start with a magic ring and work in a spiral.

Round 1: Ch1 (does not count as a st), 6dc into ring. (6 dc)

Round 2: [2dc] in each st. (12 dc)  

Round 3: [1dc, 2dc in next st] 6 times. (18 dc)

Round 4: [2dc, 2dc in next st] 6 times. (24 dc)

Round 5-6: 1dc in each st. (24 dc)

**change to yarn B**

Round 7-10: 1dc in each st. (24 dc)

Fasten off first leg and make a 2nd but don’t fasten off the 2nd leg.

Once you have made the 2 legs, lay them next to each other.

Round 11: 1dc in the 1st leg (the yarn is still attached to the 2nd leg), 1dc in the next 23sts. Then work 24dc in the 2nd leg. You will now have 48dc & your two legs will be joined to the start of your robots body. (48 dc)

Round 12-41: 1dc in each st. (48 dc)

Round 42: [6dc, dc2tog] 6 times. (42 dc)

Round 43: [5dc, dc2tog] 6 times. (36 dc)

Start to stuff your body.

Round 44: [4dc, dc2tog] 6 times. (30 dc)

Round 45: [3dc, dc2tog] 6 times. (24 dc)

Round 46: [2dc, dc2tog] 6 times. (18 dc)

Round 47: [1dc, dc2tog] 6 times. (12 dc)

Finish stuffing and sew shut.

**Work the head using yarn B**

Start with a magic ring and work in a spiral (this will be the bottom of the robots head).

Round 1: Ch1 (does not count as a st), 6dc into ring. (6 dc)

Round 3: [1dc, 2dc in next st] 6 times. (18 dc)

Round 4: [2dc, 2dc in next st] 6 times. (24 dc)

Round 5: [3dc, 2dc in next st] 6 times. (30 dc)

Round 6: [4dc, 2dc in next st] 6 times. (36 dc)

Round 7: [5dc, 2dc in next st] 6 times. (42 dc)

Ch9 and work in rows.

Round 1: 1dc in 2nd ch from hook, 1dc in each st to the end. (8 dc)

Round 2-10: Ch1, turn, 1dc in each st to the end. (8 dc)

Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew to the robots tummy.

**use yarn C for the heart**

Start with a magic ring (work Round 1 in to the ring).

Round 1: [ch3, 3tr, 3htr, ch1, 1tr, ch1, 3htr, 3tr, ch3, slst] into ring.

**use yarn A for the yellow buttons**

Make 4 buttons

Start with a magic ring and work Round 1 into ring.

Round 1: Ch1, 6dc into ring, slst in beginning ch1.

Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew to the top of the dome.

**use yarn A to make the ball for the aerial **

Start with a magic ring and work in a spiral.

Round 1: Ch1 (does not count as a st), 6dc into ring. (6 dc)

**start to stuff the ball**

Sew long vertical lines onto mouth piece, using Black embroidery thread.

Round 3-5: 1dc in each st. (12 dc)

Fasten off and repeat R1-5 to make a 2nd  but don’t fasten off the 2nd.

Once you have made the 2nd part, lay them next to each other.

**to join together **

Round 6: 1dc in the 1st part (the yarn is still attached to the 2nd part), 1dc in the next 11 sts. Then work 12dc in the 2nd part. You will now have 24 dc.

Round 7: [2dc, dc2tog] 6 times. (18 dc)

Round 8: [1dc, dc2tog] 6 times. (12 dc)

**Start to stuff the hand**

Round 9: [dc2tog] 6 times. (6 dc)

Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew to the robots arm.

To finish

1. Assemble front panels and sew completed panels, dial and buttons onto front body, using image as a guide.

2. Sew mouth to head below eyes.

3. Assemble aerials by sewing ball to stick, then stuff stick and sew to base dome so that it sticks up in the air when dome is sewn to head.. Stuff dome and sew open ends to sides of head.

4. Sew hands to base of arms and sew to body.

5. Sew head to body.
